We had fun interviewing the owners of Impressed By The Dress, on Barnes Rd., about their Bridal Shop.

Thank you to Angela and Sarah, the owners of Impressed By The Dress.

I appreciate you taking time out of your day for this interview!

Tell us a little bit about you both and your business-

Impressed by the Dress is a bridal shop that is veteran and family-owned. Although we do specialize in bridal, we also have formals, mother of the bride, bridesmaids, pretty much everything you would need for a special occasion.

How long have you both been working in this field?

Although the dream of the shop goes back many years, and preparation took countless hours, we will be happily celebrating our second anniversary on December 1st.

Why did you choose to go into this field and start this business?

We were finally able to make Colorado Springs our home after serving so many years in the military. We were looking for a way to be a bigger part of the community; make some kind of impact. When we were shopping for my daughter’s dress, we realized that there was a need for us so brides didn’t have to go all the way to Denver to find their perfect dress.

Where do you see your business heading within the next 5 years or so?

We are constantly learning and growing. Eventually we’d like to open a second location, but the ultimate goal is to be the best we can for our brides.

In your opinion, what strengths do you have that sets your business apart from your competitors?

We have a fantastic team; we’re all really family here, and we know how to give brides the best possible experience without pressure.

What do you love most about your business?

The thing we love most about the business is that we really get to connect with our brides from the moment they walk into the store and take care of them from the first time we meet them to beyond the wedding day..
